Hello Migs. Wanted you to know that I was overjoyed to find a midi of the new Glory to God (the TNB version) on your site (malaking tulog sa aming street Masses kung madalas walang pagsasakan ng koryente ang keyboards ko, kaya tiis kami sa portable CD player he he he). However, I noticed that lately there were some changes being implemented in the liturgy. In many parishes, including my own, we were encouraged not to repeat anymore the "Glory to God in the Highest" part in the TNB version (you know - the one in between the verses. In your version, the repetitions were still there). I think I understand na this is part of the going back to the original rules (circa Council of Trent ata yun) of liturgical music where the songs must duplicate as closely the spoken prayer. Maybe you can do an update of the Glory TNB minus the repetitions of "Glory to God in the highest" inbetween the verses? Bale, tulad nito - "Lord God, Heavenly King, Almighty God and Father, we worship You, we give You thanks, we praise You for Your glory (insert bridge, usually two-three seconds of the last note/chord) Lord Jesus Christ, only Son of the Father, Lord God, Lamb of God...", Madali kong gawin pag live, kaso since it is your midi, I'm bringing it up also for other users of that song who may want the shorter, more liturgically correct version
Dagdag pala - don't forget to add a "marker" in between verses so the singers will know when to begin the next verse :D
